What We Stand For
Purpose
The purpose of the Youth in Action is: through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach, it equips them with essential life skills. Youth in Action actively fosters growth by engaging and empowering young people, encouraging them to champion the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We promote youth involvement in advancing the Calls to Action outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) and it raise awareness about climate change and environmental conservation. Ultimately, Youth in Action strives to engage, enable, and empower youth (15 to 30 years) to create more opportunities and meaningful employment opportunities for youth.

Our core values guide our relationships with youth, family and community and define our reason for being. They represent a standard by which all Youth in Action programs and services are measured.
